6 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez continues to disappoint this season after a breakout campaign in 2017. Gonzalez slashed .303/.377.530 with 23 home runs, 34 doubles and a team-leading 90 runs driven in during the Astros championship run last season. His 2018 has been the complete opposite, as the switch-hitter is slashing only .230/.313/.353 with six home runs and 15 doubles through 317 at-bats. He is hitting only .239 with runners in scoring position and has hit less than .240 in every month this season except for June. Gonzalez is no longer fantasy viable and shows little signs of snapping out of it anytime soon.--Joey C - RotoBaller
