7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez (shoulder) left the stadium on Monday to undergo an MRI exam on his shoulder. The early indications are that he's dealing with a "mild strain," and he will be going back on the disabled list. It's now the second time Martinez will land on the DL with shoulder issues, so his fantasy owners should be seriously worried. He's been on the DL a total of three times already this year. It has shown in his performance lately, too, as he's 4-6 with a 5.19 ERA in his last 10 starts since June 5.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
