7 years agoThe New York Yankees are looking for a right-handed bat and have spoke to the Mets about outfielder Jose Bautista. The Mets won't just give him away, though, and trades involving the Mets and Yankees are always tricky, so it doesn't seem likely to happen. Joey Bats is batting only .216 overall, but he still has some pop in his lumber and has been better with the Mets, hitting six home runs and driving in 24 in 58 games.
