7 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys remain the most likely landing spot for Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas. The Seahawks have no interest in giving Thomas a new deal and he will not report to the team until he has a new contract, so a trade is the most likely solution. Head coach Peter Carroll said the two sides have had no contact of late. The Cowboys have $14.8 million in salary cap space, so they could offer Thomas a lot. The Seahawks won't give Thomas away for nothing, and the two teams reportedly haven't talked since the draft. The two teams are basically in a staring contest, waiting for the other to blink first. A trade may not happen until closer to the start of the regular season. Despite missing some games the last few years due to injury, Thomas remains one of the NFL's better safeties and would be a big boost to Dallas' secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
