7 years agoLos Angeles Chargers cornerback Trevor Williams (ankle) was injured in practice on Tuesday and left on crutches and with his left foot in a walking boot. Head coach Anthony Lynn is hoping Williams is only dealing with a sprained ankle. Williams was a surprise contributor for the Bolts last year and started across from Casey Hayward. With Jason Verrett (Achilles) already lost for the year, losing Williams for any amount of time in the regular season would be a big blow to the team's secondary.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
