7 years agoSeattle Mariners pitcher Erasmo Ramirez (shoulder) will pitch four innings for Double-A Arkansas on Tuesday, according to general manager Jerry Dipoto. Ramirez has pitched well while on his rehab assignment and his velocity is back to 94 mph. He'll be in the team's plans for the final two months, but it's unknown if he'll pitch as a starter or in relief. The right-hander doesn't have overpowering stuff, but he can be a deep league streamer in the right matchups if he's starting. Perhaps he'll take the rotation spot of Felix Hernandez if he continues to struggle.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
