7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer (shoulder) is being listed as day-to-day after injuring his left shoulder on a dive on Tuesday. "He came off the field and was pretty sore and I think a little scared, too," manager A.J. Hinch said. "It was a weird play for him to try to cut the ball off and his left shoulder was bugging him. We took him out of the game. He worked with the trainers the whole game. We'll see how he is. Standard day to day." Springer could probably use a day off, too, as he's hitting .170 in his last 39 games. Expect him to be out of the lineup on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
