7 years agoUpdating a previous report, Buffalo Bills quarterback AJ McCarron has been much sharper than Nathan Peterman so far in training camp and is emerging as the safest bet to start under center in Week 1. Rookie Josh Allen has made some of the best throws in camp but also some of the worst. McCarron has been very steady. Allen clearly has the most upside with his strong arm, but it would not be a surprise to see McCarron start out the year under center. However, his leash will be very short, and he's not a recommended fantasy selection, even as a QB2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
