7 years agoThe Cleveland Indians optioned outfielder Greg Allen to Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday to make room on the roster for outfielder Leonys Martin, who was acquired from the Tigers on Tuesday. The Tribe just didn't have room for Allen with the acquisition of Martin. Allen was hitting only .224 with one homer, five RBI and six stolen bases in 147 at-bats this year.
