7 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott no longer has the weight of an NFL suspension looming over him in training camp this year. It resulted in a quiet offseason for him, and he looks to be mentally and physically in better shape this year. “You go at this time last year, he’s very stressed out,” running backs coach Gary Brown said. “Wasn’t himself. Looked big. Now he looks happy and jubilant and lean and just going out there and having some fun. So it’s a completely different Zeke than it was last year.” He's one of the best workhorse backs in a league that is trending toward committee approaches in the backfield.
