7 years agoMiami Dolphins veteran running back Frank Gore, 35, has not looked his age so far in training camp. “He doesn’t look different than he did 10 years ago,” said head coach Adam Gase, who coached Gore as an offensive assistant with the 49ers in 2008. “He does a phenomenal job. He’s been preparing all spring. All I’ve heard from him since then is ‘Wait ‘til training camp.’ He is the last person I will ever doubt. Just seeing what he’s done throughout his career starting in college, he’s proven every person wrong we’ve ever known.” Entering his 14th season, Gore has looked lean and quick in 11-on-11 drills. Gore opens the season just 76 yards from passing Curtis Martin for fourth on the all-time rushing list. The veteran is returning to play for his hometown team, but he'll be well behind lead back Kenyan Drake, and rookie Kalen Ballage will also steal touches from him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
