7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ross Stripling (toe) said he will be activated from the disabled list in time to start Aug. 9 or 10 at the Rockies. Stripling has been great overall for the Blue this year with an ERA under 3.00, but he allowed nine earned runs in just 8 2/3 innings in his two starts before he landed on the DL. Starting him in Colorado coming off a DL stint won't be the most wise move, either. Stripling could move back to the bullpen once Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) comes back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
