7 years agoThe New York Yankees will call up first baseman Luke Voit and pitcher Luis Cessa, according to a source. Cessa may be taking the roster spot of starting pitcher J.A. Happ (illness), who has come down with hand, foot and mouth disease. He has a 3.10 ERA on the year and could make a spot start this weekend against the Red Sox. You'd obviously want to avoid him as a streamer if that's the case. Voit was acquired from the Cardinals on Tuesday. He has hit well at Triple-A this year (.299/.391/.500 with nine home runs).
