7 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals are releasing wide receiver Brandon LaFell on Thursday. LaFell was a disappointment in his second season with the Bengals in 2017, catching 52 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns. The former third-round pick could easily latch on with another team, but we won't know what kind of fantasy potential he'll have until then. John Ross will be asked to step up as the No. 2 receiver behind A.J. Green this year. LaFell's departure also means Tyler Boyd, Cody Core and Josh Malone have more opportunity to make a difference.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
