6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe blasted his ninth homer Sunday against the Chicago Cubs. Renfroe put the game on ice with a two-run ninth-inning bomb off Cubs left-handed reliever Randy Rosario. He finished the day 2-for-4 with three RBI and is riding a modest four-game hitting streak. Renfroe has seen the field sporadically this season but is currently getting more opportunities with outfielder Wil Myers (foot) on the shelf. He continues to have contact issues (27 percent strikeout rate) but the power has been durable. Heading into Sunday, Renfroe held an .836 OPS against lefties. He holds limited fantasy value but is a better daily than season-long option due to his unpredictable playing time.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
