7 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels placed starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday with right shoulder inflammation. Reliever Williams Jerez was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. It's Tropeano's third trip to the DL with shoulder-related issues. He's been nothing to write home about when healthy, going 5-6 with a 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 over 14 starts.
