7 years agoThe San Diego Padres plan to bring up pitching prospect Jacob Nix later this week to make his major league debut, according to sources. He would be likely to start one of the three games against the Phillies. Nix is the team's 14th-ranked prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and has a 1.84 ERA in the minors in 2018. The right-hander could be an option to stream in deeper leagues, and if he pitches well if he could stick in the rotation down the stretch.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
