6 years agoLos Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia said that he is hopeful Tyler Skaggs (groin) will be able to return from the disabled list on Saturday against the Oakland Athletics. Skaggs left his start on July 31 with a left adductor strain after being lit up for 10 runs in just 3 1/3 innings. That outing aside, Skaggs has been a solid starter throughout the season. He has an 8-7 record with a 3.34 ERA and 9.4 K/9 through 20 starts. If he does return on Saturday, it may be best to avoid starting him due to the recent surge from the Athletics.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
