Josh Allen Makes Bills Debut
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen showed signs of promise against the Carolina Panthers in his first game in the league. The number seven overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft started the second half under center on Thursday night, nearly connecting on a 50-yard pass intended for wide receiver Robert Foster in the unofficial first play of his career. Though the 22-year-old would finish completing only nine of his 19 passing attempts, he did find the end zone once in addition to displaying his impressive arm strength. Nonetheless, the quarterback battle between himself, A.J. McCarron and Nathan Peterman will continue, but he made his case to be considered the potential starter come Week 1 when the team opens the season against the Baltimore Ravens.
