7 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (knee) is taking his rehab process "slow and steady," according to manager A.J. Hinch. The team plans to "test" Altuve's knee on the field this weekend. President of baseball operations and general manager Jeff Luhnow said the team doesn't think Altuve will be out for an extended period. It's unknown if Altuve will require a rehab assignment.
