7 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (foot) has been taking ground balls at third base while he rehabs. He's expected to take batting practice on Friday and could be ready to return from the disabled list on Monday when eligible. It's especially worth noting after outfielder Hunter Renfroe has homered in four straight games and is batting .379/.394/.862 in seven games in August. Outfielder Franmil Reyes is 9-for-15 with three home runs and two doubles in the last four games. It's highly unlikely that Myers sees any time at the hot corner, but it's worth watching. Myers has been the most consistent bat for the team in 2018, but he's had trouble staying healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
