7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) is scheduled to start his rehab assignment with Single-A Clearwater on Saturday. Ramos has yet to play a game for the Phillies after being acquired at the trade deadline. He was hitting a nice .297 with 14 home runs and 53 RBI with the Rays in 78 games, and he should be back from the disabled list before the end of the month. He'll become the team's primary backstop, pushing Jorge Alfaro into a backup role. Ramos should remain stashed in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
