7 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/first baseman John Hicks (groin) will visit with a core muscle specialist, Dr. William Meyers, on Wednesday and undergo another MRI exam. There is no timetable for Hicks' return, so he should be left on the waiver wire in most mixed leagues. He was hitting .260 with nine home runs and 32 RBI before his injury. Jim Adduci and Ronny Rodriguez should split the playing time at first base with Hicks on the disabled list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
