6 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker (hand) could miss two weeks after suffering a hand injury in practice on Sunday after colliding with cornerback Xavien Howard. He has been held out of practice for the last two days and his status for the September 9 season opener is in doubt. The injury is a broken middle finger on his right hand, which can have a wide range of recovery time depending on the nature of the break. Parker has been injury prone in his first three seasons in the NFL, often suffering from chronic hamstring injuries. A broken finger is an acute injury and should be considered bad luck rather than Parker have a brittle body. This should ding his draft stock a round or two depending on the severity of the injury.--Elliott Baas - RotoBaller
