7 years agoNew York Mets outfielder/first baseman Jay Bruce (hip) is scheduled to play right field on Tuesday for Single-A St. Lucie in his first minor league game. He will play first base on Wednesday. Bruce has been a massive disappointment in 2018 and has been out since June 17. He could provide decent pop down the stretch for those in deeper leagues, but he was hitting just .212 with three home runs and 17 RBI in 212 at-bats before his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
