6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) will throw a live batting session on Wednesday in Philadelphia. If he faces no setbacks, he should be able to start a minor-league rehab assignment within the next few days. The lefty has been out since July 15 with an ankle sprain and is worth a stash if he is still floating around on the waiver wire. He was enjoying a solid season before the ailment as evidenced by his 11-3 record and 3.44 ERA. Upon his return, Brian Johnson would be the odd man out of the rotation.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
