7 years agoOakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr looks to be in real command of new head coach John Gruden's offense in training camp. He has been vocal before the snap and at the line of scrimmage and is directing traffic to a degree that he hasn't before. It all sounds great, but we want to see this carry over into a full game in the regular season. The Raiders offense just never got going in 2017 and Carr was more of a QB2 rather than a QB1, which is what he was drafted as. He surely has QB1 upside if he can rebound, but smart fantasy owners are drafting him as a backup with upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
