7 years agoThe Houston Texans worked out free-agent place kickers Giorgio Tavecchio and Nick Rose on Wednesday, according to sources. Both kickers did well, but Tavecchio is under consideration to be signed. This can't be good news for Ka'imi Fairbairn, who is currently the team's kicker. Tavecchio made 16 of his 21 field goal attempts for the Raiders in his rookie season last year, including going 3-for-4 from 50-plus yards. The Texans offense should be solid this year, but avoid whoever wins the job in fantasy to begin the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
