7 years agoThe New England Patriots and wide receiver Chris Hogan have had discussions about a contract extension, but the two sides are too far apart in the early stages of the process, according to a source. There is still plenty of time for the two sides to come to an agreement. Hogan is the clear No. 1 receiver in New England, and that means a lot when quarterback Tom Brady is running the show. That's even better news for his fantasy owners with Julian Edelman suspended the first four games. Injuries are a concern -- he missed seven games in 2017 -- but he could post double-digit touchdowns if he plays a full season.
