7 years agoUpdating a previous report, X-rays came back negative on New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (finger) after he left the game early on Wednesday with a left index finger injury. Nimmo was hit on the finger while grounding out in the game. It snapped a string of 10 straight plate appearances with him reaching base. Nimmo has been especially hot lately and has been the team's most consistent hitter all year. He's useful in most fantasy leagues, especially for his speed. Hopefully he won't have to miss any games, but don't be surprised if he's held out for a day or two.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
