7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after the doubleheader on Thursday. He's expected to be recalled to make his next start next week against the Nationals. He picked up the win in Game 2 against the Mets, allowing seven hits and four earned runs while walking three and striking out five in 6 2/3 innings. Eflin has been good in his 17 starts, going 9-4 with a 3.70 ERA and 8.41 K/9. He's been useful to owners in most leagues this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
