Carlos Hyde Scores In Second Preseason Game
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Carlos Hyde ran well against the Buffalo Bills in his team's second preseason game on Friday. Hyde finished with nine carries for 64 yards and one touchdown while adding one catch in the passing game. The veteran runner showed excellent vision and proved to be difficult for Bills defenders to bring down on his runs. Hyde continues to play ahead of rookie running back Nick Chubb, who has come in with the second-team offense in each of the Browns' two preseason games. Look for Hyde to open the season as Cleveland's early-down runner while Duke Johnson mixes in on passing downs. Hyde is likely to play into the third quarter in the third preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.
