BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 2% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Keep an eye on Houston Astros first baseman Tyler White as he continues to perform when he is in the lineup. With the return of George Springer from the disabled list, there are fewer spots for Yulieski Gurriel, Marwin Gonzalez, and White to occupy. Even with only 12 plate appearances in the last week, White hit two homers, four RBI, and a .364 batting average.
In 94 plate appearances, White has a slash line of .296/.394/.617. These totals are boosted by a 13.8% walk rate and a .321 ISO. It should be noted, though, that White is not hitting the ball as hard this year (40%) as he did in 2017 (44%). With a 38.3% fly ball rate, it must be enough to stay productive.
The Astros have a favorable six-game schedule on the road this week against the Mariners and Angels. If you can, find a way to stream White when he is in the lineup.
