6 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis delivered all the offense his team needed in a 1-0 victory. Markakis singled home a run in the first inning and the pitching staff did the rest. Markakis has been struggling at getting on base lately as he is just 5-for-27 in his last seven games, but the run-producing ability is still there. He has a beefy .318 average on the season along with 81 RBI and 14 home runs. He should be able to hit his way out of the mini-slump as he continues to see enviable at-bats near the top of the Braves order.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
