7 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (shoulder) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Javier Baez will fill in at shortstop and bat third against righty Jordan Zimmermann. It's unclear whether or not this issue is more than a day-to-day type of problem. Regardless, Russell is likely going to lose playing time since the Cubs acquired Daniel Murphy. Baez should be a fairly decent DFS option against Zimmermann on Tuesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
