6 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (finger) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list. Russell has also been bothered by shoulder and leg issues. Russell has been a major disappointment this season and with the Cubs acquiring Daniel Murphy on Tuesday, second baseman Javier Baez figures to get plenty of run at shortstop. Russell can be dropped in all formats as he is likely to lose playing time and has struggled most of the season with his bat.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
