6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Carlos Hyde was one of his team's standouts in the previous week's preseason contest against the Buffalo Bills. Hyde ripped off multiple big runs and scored a touchdown in the game while playing into the second quarter. The veteran should be on the field plenty in the third preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. He could see extensive work, as well, as offensive coordinator Todd Haley fed him often against Buffalo. One key thing to watch for is whether rookie Nick Chubb earned himself any first-team reps after a solid showing last week. Up until this point, Hyde has been clearly ahead of Chubb throughout training camp. The upcoming game should show how the Browns plan to use the two backs in the regular season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
