6 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran was dominant against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night. The righty went seven innings allowing a single run on two hits. He also had five strikeouts and picked up the win. Teheran has struggled with inconsistent performances all season long, but this was his third straight quality start. His record now stands at 9-7 with a 4.09 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. It may be best to play the matchup game with Teheran, but he is definitely worth a roster spot in any leagues with 12 or more teams. He projects to have a favorable start his next time out against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
