Brandon Marshall To Start In Week 1?
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Brandon Marshall had his best week of practice, head coach Pete Carroll said Thursday. The 34-year-old was limited to a career-low 18 receptions across five games in a New York Giants uniform, as he faced a myriad of injuries including ankle and toe ailments which required corrective surgery. He also battled a hamstring issue during the offseason. At this point, Marshall is not believed to be in danger of being cut by the Sept. 1 deadline, and he might even potentially start in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos with WR Doug Baldwin (knee) battling a knee ailment. Marshall is still best used as a WR5 in most fantasy leagues since he is a bit long in the tooth.
