6 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, although he might be able to practice Saturday and potentially suit up for the fourth and final preseason contest against the Detroit Lions next week. Head coach Hue Jackson said Gordon could play just to get back into game shape, even if most of the other starters will be rested. He still has plenty of time to jell with starter Tyrod Taylor before the games count for real. Gordon is obviously a risky fantasy selection due to his myriad of off-field issues, but he is a tremendous talent when he is on the field. Just make sure to have plenty of depth on hand.--Daniel Dobish
