6 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Wil Myers (nose) is back in the lineup Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Myers missed a couple of games after suffering a nose laceration fielding ground balls during warmups earlier this week. He’ll bat second and man the hot corner. Myers is batting .207 in August with nine strikeouts in 29 at-bats but can be safely deployed as necessary. Despite struggling with injuries this season, Myers is slashing .268/.326/.480 with nine homers and eight steals in 215 plate appearances. If he stays on the field, the multi-positional talent should prove a useful fantasy asset down the stretch.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
