Miguel Sano Drives In One Friday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano went 0-for-3 with one RBI in his team's 7-1 loss to the Oakland A's on Friday. Sano's fourth-inning sacrifice fly gave the Twins their only run of the ballgame. The veteran third baseman is now hitting .210 with a .697 OPS, 11 homers, 30 runs, and 38 RBI in 233 at-bats on the year. It has been a rough season for Sano, who was so ineffective early in the season that he was sent to the minors to get straightened out. He still has plenty of potential and could carry fantasy teams if his bat heats up. He will take on Oakland right-hander Mike Fiers on Saturday.
