6 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Frank Gore rushed one time for -2 yards in the Dolphins 27-10 preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday. He also caught one pass for one yard. Gore had to lobby head coach Adam Gase to even play in this game, so it's unsurprising that he got such little work. At 35-years-old and with over 3200 career carries Gore's body doesn't need to take the abuse in the preseason. The 13-year veteran doesn't have much to season or prove in exhibition action. It would seem logical that Gore serves either as a backup or on the short side of a split with Kenyan Drake. Drake flashed brilliance at the end of last season, while Gore hasn't averaged more than four yards-per-carry since 2014.--Elliott Baas - RotoBaller
