Seahawks Wideout Picture Clearing Up
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tanner McEvoy was waived over the weekend, which likely means wideouts David Moore and perhaps Keenan Reynolds have taken a step closer toward making the 53-man roster. It also might signal that Doug Baldwin (knee) is healthy and will be ready for the regular season opener. Tyler Lockett, Jaron Brown and perhaps Brandon Marshall also might be on pace to make the final roster, with Moore filling the role previously held by McEvoy. He'll likely see a role on special teams, while operating the No. 5, or perhaps No. 6 receiver. In other words, no fantasy appeal. However, Baldwin remains a solid WR2, while Lockett is more of a WR3 or flex option, and Marshall could still be a worthwhile WR4 in deeper leagues.
