Duke Johnson Likely To Sit In Preseason Finale
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson is not expected to play in the preseason finale on Thursday against the Detroit Lions. "I was not really looking forward to this game anyways," he said. "It is cool. I think that it helps us get ready." Head coach Hue Jackson will rest his starters and key personnel in the game, keeping everyone healthy for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Johnson should be targeted as a low-end RB2 or flex option in PPR formats, while treating him as a RB3 in most standard formats. He will continue to battle Carlos Hyde for starter reps, while also trying to hold off a charge from rookie Nick Chubb.
