Rashaad Penny Back On Practice Field
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (finger) was wearing a helmet and shoulder pads on the practice field on Monday for the first time since having corrective surgery for a broken left index finger on Aug. 15. Head coach Pete Carroll said Penny has a chance to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Oakland Raiders. It isn't necessary for Penny to play to be in Carroll's plans for the Week 1 opener against the Denver Broncos. Penny and Chris Carson are expected to shoulder a solid portion of the backfield touches for the Seahawks. Both Carson and Penny should be treated as RB3 or flex fantasy options until further notice.
