7 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Chad Kelly's play in training camp may force the team's hand to keep him as a developmental prospect on the active roster behind starter Case Keenum. The Broncos have given Paxton Lynch, a former first-rounder, plenty of chances, but he continues to struggle and finds himself third on the depth chart. Signing a veteran quarterback as Keenum's backup and parting ways with Lynch looks like the most likely scenario. Lynch has looked overmatched each time he's stepped on an NFL field so far in his career. At this point, a change of scenery might be best for both sides.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
