7 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher prospect Forrest Whitley (lat) was placed on the minor league disabled list on Tuesday. Whitley has a ton of promise as the team's top prospect and the seventh overall prospect in baseball, according to MLB.com, but he's pitched just 26 1/3 innings this year for Double-A Corpus Christi due to injuries and a suspension.
