7 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Clayton Richard (knee) will have season-ending surgery on his knee. He was just placed on the disabled list with knee inflammation on Tuesday. The left-hander went 7-11 on the season with a poor 5.33 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and only 108 strikeouts in 158 2/3 innings covering 27 starts. Richard wasn't much of a fantasy option and was really just a streaming option in NL-only leagues for the brave.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
