7 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Charlie Morton (shoulder) is being placed on the disabled list on Wednesday with right shoulder discomfort. However, the Astros only expect Morton to miss one start. The right-hander has allowed nine earned runs over 9 2/3 innings in his last two starts against the Mariners and A's, but otherwise he's been mostly solid for fantasy owners in 2018. Morton is 13-3 this year with a tidy 3.14 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 185 K's in 152 innings over 26 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
